Here is how this works in practice. We deliver visual effects compositing that layers live-action footage with CGI, matte paintings, particle effects and other digital elements into seamless final frames. Compositing artists use color matching, lighting integration and perspective alignment to create believable images that serve the story. Our team connects shoots with Dutch VFX compositing artists and facilities, setting up shot turnover, review sessions and final delivery so composite shots are in tech flawless and visually indistinguishable from in use captured footage.

Here is what we have to work with. Dutch VFX work is concentrated in Amsterdam and Rotterdam, served by a set up visual-effects sector. We work primarily in Nuke for high-end film and television, alongside After Effects for motion-graphics-heavy projects and Fusion and Flame where needed. We handle tricky green-screen keying with multi-channel techniques, edge processing and spill suppression, and we work across all pro formats from HD through 8K. This includes RAW and HDR workflows.

Here is the short of it. The Netherlands has a set up VFX sector and a respected animation custom. Michaël Dudok de Wit's Oscar-winning 'Father and Daughter' and Oscar-nominated 'The Red Turtle' among its landmarks — that together support a deep compositing talent pool. Visual effects support feature drama, documentary and commercial shoots bound for the Global Film Festival Rotterdam and the Netherlands Film Festival in Utrecht, with the Netherlands Film Fund's 35% cash rebates drawing shoots to base effects work in the country.

Here is the layout. Composited shots feed theatrical finishing to DCI standards and broadcast finishing to EBU specs, as the country is an EBU member.
