Here is how this works in practice. We deliver CGI and 3D animation that builds photorealistic or stylised digital visuals through modeling, texturing, lighting and rendering, expanding a production's visual scope beyond practical filmmaking. Our team connects shoots with Dutch animation and CG studios set to the needed quality and volume, setting up creative briefings, asset reviews and tech pipelines so CG elements match the project's visual standards and integrate cleanly with live-action plates.

Here is what we have to work with. Dutch CG work is concentrated in Amsterdam and Rotterdam, served by studios fluent in 3D modeling, character animation, simulation and rendering. We work with industry-standard tools. Maya, Houdini, Cinema 4D, ZBrush and Blender, rendered through Arnold, V-Ray, Redshift or real-time engines — selected to suit each project. We handle rigging, animation and facial work for character performance, and deliver CG elements ready for compositing and finishing.

Here is the short of it. The Netherlands has a respected animation custom: Michaël Dudok de Wit won the Best Animated Short Oscar in 2001 for 'Father and Daughter' and earned a Best Animated Feature nomination for 'The Red Turtle', co-produced with Studio Ghibli. That heritage, combined with the country's strong Dutch Design culture, feeds a CG and animation sector skilled in both narrative and design-led work.

Here is the layout. CGI supports feature drama, documentary and commercial shoots heading for the Global Film Festival Rotterdam and the Netherlands Film Festival in Utrecht, with the Netherlands Film Fund's 35% cash rebates drawing shoots to base CG work in the country. Our team delivers 3D animation calibrated for theatrical, broadcast and streaming pipelines, in the lineage of acclaimed Dutch visual storytelling.
