We source from TSF, Panavision Amsterdam, RVZ, and other major Dutch rental houses. Today's inventory access has ARRI Alexa 35 and Mini LF, RED V-RAPTOR and Komodo, Sony VENICE 2—plus the full lens ecosystem from Zeiss Supreme to Cooke S7 to Angenieux zooms. Lighting runs from ARRI SkyPanel X to M-series HMIs to Astera tubes. Audio is Lectrosonics, Wisycom, Sound Devices. If it's in pro use, we can get it.

Here is how this works in practice. The firm gives phone support for all packages while technicians will be ready on set for building tricky structures. The camera preparation takes place on the previous day when the AC team should be ready for the shoot—we do't send untested gear to set. If something fails during the shoot, rental houses in Amsterdam can mostly swap units same-day. Regional shoots are trickier, so we build in backup gear for anything mission-critical.

Here is the short of it. That's the default. DPs spec their camera packages, gaffers pull their lighting orders, sound mixers have their preferred wireless frequencies. We set up across departments so everything works together—matching power draws to power packs capacity, confirming lens coverage for the sensor size, making sure wireless audio and video don't conflict. The package fits the show, not the other way around.

Here is the breakdown. Batteries charged and tested, media cards formatted, cables and adapters for whatever you're plugging into. Cases for transport, expendables like gels and diffusion on request. We have backup bodies for cameras and backup transmitters for audio—the stuff that saves the day when Murphy's Law kicks in. Setup support and walkthroughs for crew who haven't used specific gear before.

Here is what that looks like on the ground. The Dutch rental houses operate based on daily rates which give discounted prices for weekly bookings starting from the fourth or fifth day of rental. We quote in euros, all-in except for damage waivers. The gear needs production insurance which accepts most global policies but Dutch houses need to see the certificate before they will release the content. The amount of deposits differs between basic packages which need little to no deposit and high-value lenses and specialty items which need larger deposits.
