Here is how this works in practice. We deliver audio mixing and mastering that balances dialogue, music and effects into a coherent, distribution-ready master. Our team sets up stage booking, stem running and final printmaster delivery for stereo, 5.1 and immersive formats, with quality control checks against the tech specs each sites demands. Dutch audio post is concentrated in Amsterdam, where dubbing and mixing stages serve feature documentary, drama and advertising, and in Hilversum, the broadcast-media hub where NPO programming is finished.

Here is what we have to work with. Re-recording mixers handle level balancing, dynamic control, equalisation and loudness conforming so the master translates across cinema, broadcast and streaming playback. We prepare separate music-and-effects stems for global versioning and manage fold-downs between formats. We build deliverable packages that have conformed masters, textless elements and the metadata distributors need for ingest.

Here is the short of it. The Netherlands is an EBU member, so broadcast masters for NPO and the commercial networks RTL Nederland and Talpa Network follow EBU R128 loudness normalisation, while theatrical masters observe DCI cinema specs for release through the Global Film Festival Rotterdam and the Global Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam. Here is the layout. Netflix runs its EMEA hub from Amsterdam, so mastering to streaming loudness and delivery specs is routine work for Dutch studios. The Dutch subtitle-first custom keeps first-language stems intact for Dutch and English versioning rather than dubbing.
