Here is how this works in practice. We deliver broadcast-ready masters that meet the exact tech standards of each target network — video codecs, audio channel configurations, loudness, captioning and quality-control specs. Our team sets up with mastering facilities that know Dutch and global TV networks needs, handling format conforming, QC checks and delivery logistics so content passes tech acceptance and airs without issues.

Here is what we have to work with. Much Dutch broadcast finishing is done in Hilversum, the country's broadcast-media hub, where the public TV networks NPO and the commercial networks RTL Nederland and Talpa Network are served. We run automated QC combined with manual review, checking video levels, audio loudness, safe areas, metadata and format compliance, and we supply detailed QC reports with each delivery. Our workflows are built for the demanding pace of broadcast schedules, turning around compliant masters fast without compromising quality.

Here is the short of it. The Netherlands is a member of the European Broadcasting Union, so broadcast deliverables follow EBU R128 loudness normalisation and EBU tech specs as standard, the baseline for NPO 1, 2 and 3 and for NPO Start. The Dutch subtitle-first custom means broadcast masters routinely carry Dutch subtitles on foreign-language content rather than dubbed audio. We prepare caption and subtitle files to the needed formats. We also deliver to global networks across Europe and beyond, handling region-specific loudness, captioning and regulatory needs. Our team prepares broadcast masters for documentary, drama and factual programming in the custom of Dutch public-service television, making sure first-pass acceptance and trusted transmission for each air date.
