Talent Coordination

Here is how this works in practice. We set up talent so that each performer is contracted, scheduled and supported correctly through the production. Our team manages the practical side of working with actors and presenters: confirming openings, building shoot schedules around performers' other commitments, arranging transport, lodging, costume and make-up calls, and acting as the point of contact between cast, agents and the production. We make sure engagements are logged under fitting contracts that respect the Dutch film-industry collective labour agreement (the CAO).

Here is the breakdown. This sets terms on working hours, turnaround and breaks for cast as well as crew. Because the Netherlands is compact and exceptionally well connected, talent can move between locations in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht and the surrounding regions within a single schedule, and we plan calls to make the most of that efficiency.

Here is the short of it. Good talent planning depends on knowing the Dutch performing landscape. The country has a deep, worldwide fluent talent pool — the Netherlands ranks first in the world for English proficiency, so Dutch performers work convincingly in English and often in German or French, making local cast a natural fit for global shoots. The Netherlands Film Academy supplies trained new talent, while set up performers in the custom of Rutger Hauer, Carice van Houten and Michiel Huisman move fluidly between Dutch and global work.

Here is what that looks like on the ground. We keep relationships with agents and casting directors across the country. We handle the day-to-day planning that keeps performers prepared and on time. Where engagements involve personal data, we manage it in line with GDPR. The result is a cast that arrives ready to work and a production where talent logistics never become a bottleneck.
