Sound Design

Here is how this works in practice. We deliver sound design that builds the sonic world of a project — atmospheres, designed effects, transitions and textures that carry mood and narrative. Our team sets up spotting sessions, asset creation and watched design work, shaping material to the edit alongside dialogue, Foley and score. Dutch sound design is concentrated in Amsterdam and Hilversum, the broadcast-media hub, where audio post houses serve feature drama, documentary, commercials and NPO programming.

Here is what we have to work with. Sound designers create and source effects, design ambiences, build impact and movement, and prepare layered, ordered elements that the re-recording mix can place across stereo, 5.1 and immersive formats. We work across naturalistic and stylised ways, prepare music-and-effects stems for global versioning, and deliver fully labelled sessions and stems ready for the final mix and for distribution to theatrical, broadcast and streaming sites.
