Here is how this works in practice. Here is what we have to work with. Our operators shoot in the IJsselmeer, the rivers Rhine, Maas and Waal, the Wadden Sea and the North Sea coast, as well as in controlled studio tanks where visibility and temperature can be managed. They handle underwater housings for ARRI, RED and Sony cinema bodies, calibrated dome ports and underwater tracking, and they work with safety divers and surface support. Many Dutch waterways carry low visibility and cold temperatures, so our team plans lighting, dive times and backup with care, and briefs each shoot in fluent English alongside visiting directors.
